Our Story
Founded in the early 1980s by Karl and Jeanne Roese, KHR began as a small family business serving local flooring professionals with a simple promise: value, quality, safety and service. Decades later, those principles still guide us — now with a larger team, a deeper stockholding, and a nationwide customer base supported by fast turnaround and expert advice.
Today KHR remains family‑led, with Katie Roese‑McLean and Peter Roese continuing the commitment to trusted products, training and technical support for the trade across the UK.
A History of Success
Starting in 1981, KHR grew from local supply into a trusted national partner for floor sanding professionals. Through the 1990s and 2000s we expanded our team, moved into larger premises in Southampton, and broadened our range to support the full refinishing workflow — from machines and parts to abrasives, finishes, tools and accessories.
